Afghanistan’s Parliament Member, Fawzia Koofi celebrated the birthday of prophet Mohammad peace be upon him and March 8th, International Women's Day, with hundreds of families in Kabul province. Ms. Koofi, Afghanistan’s popular moderate leader visited with disadvantaged families and widowed women in Reshkhor district where she distributed aid such as cooking oil, rice, and wheat lour to hundreds of families those who recently survived the wintry weather. Reshkhor residents are all government local employees who hardly pass their life due to lack of monthly salary. The area surrounded with
poorly built homes made out of plastic and wood. People live without electricity and drinking water. Ms. Koofi pleased the women with packages of food, which were managed from her personal budge and congratulated International Women's Day to them. Most of the families are returned back from neighboring countries and still not able to rebuild their war torn homes. Ms. Koofi promised them reaching International aid organization and government agencies to provide more food for them
